Bridgeport man shot in buttocks; claims some shot him while walking
BRIDGEPORT - A man, who was wounded in the buttocks, claims someone shot him while walking on Huntington Turnpike Sunday morning.
Police got a call at 10:14 a.m. from Bridgeport Hospital reportinng that a male arrived with a gunshot wound. Officers and detectives responded to the hospital and spoke with a male victim who was alert and conscious.
“The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the buttocks that he states occurred while he was walking on Huntington Turnpike near Priscilla Street,” Capt. Brian Fitzgerald
“No crime scene was located at this location and there are inconsistencies in the victim’s version of events.”
