Orchids and Onions: Friday, November 16, 2018

November 17, 2018

Another beautiful day in Havasu...

Onions to inconsiderate jerk using key fob to lock truck door in Wal-Mart parking lot. Didn’t you see me sleeping in red car next to your vehicle? Toot of your horn startled and woke me. Pulled neck muscles. Next time look before you lock!

Onions to the upscale bar and restaurant for not honoring a birthday dinner email special. ($35.00) and also not answering emails as to why not. Not a good night out!

Orchids to a famous quote: “Lies can become the truth if we let them…”

Orchids to our home grown onion producers…we take pride in what we do, 12 months out of the year!

Orchid to Mike at Anderson Toyota Service dept. We were on a road trip and the red light on the dash came on. He called me right back to assure me not to panic that everything was ok. Just great service from a great guy. Thanks, Tim

Orchids to Lake Havasu City residents in helping the homeless…please remember too keep them warm this time a year with blanket and gloves. Former homeless woman in LHC Santa Ana.

Onions to the P.O. having mailed delivered after dark, wrong mail delivered and landscaping desperately needing some cleanup. Dead bushes and trees hanging over road.

Orchids to the two gentlemen who came to rescue.

Orchids to Loretta at Lowe’s for all the help in purchasing my major appliance package! She really is a gem, right from the start to having the best delivery crew and exceptional installers. I will definitely be using that new 5% off credit card too! J

Orchids to the firemen at Desert Hills Fire Station for coming to our home and changing our smoke alarm batteries. Thanks so much guys. George Lane
