Police notebook for Feb. 20, 2019

Between 8:10 a.m. on Friday and 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, police responded to 93 calls, including the following:

New Pinery Road: Police at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 15 confiscated a BB gun from a 13-year-old male student at Bartels Middle School. The male juvenile was taken into custody by Columbia County sheriff’s deputies and transferred to the Portage County Juvenile Detention Center in Stevens Point.

New Pinery Road and School Road: Police at 5:59 p.m. on Feb. 15 cited Aaron C. Raimer, 26, of Portage, for accidental damage to property after police say he followed too closely to another vehicle.

West Highway 33 and Caledonia Street: Police at 11:27 p.m. on Feb. 15 cited Robert J. Cohoon, 24, of Reedsburg, for an eighth offense of operating after license revocation. The vehicle was impounded.

East Cook Street and DeWitt Street: Police at 4:36 a.m. on Feb. 16 cited Adam C. Hill, 29, of North Freedom, for a third offense of operating after license suspension.

West Cook Street: Police at 8:01 a.m. on Feb. 16 cited Joshua A. Zacharias, 31, of Cross Plains, for a fourth offense of operating after license suspension.

New Pinery Road: Police at 8:40 a.m. on Feb. 16 responded to a report of theft of a purse at Walmart.

East Franklin Street: Police at 11:14 p.m. on Feb. 16 arrested Austin J. Lynn, 23, of Portage, for possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia and Department of Corrections and Dodge County warrants on domestic abuse charges.

East Cook Street: Police at 4:09 a.m. on Feb. 17 arrested a 31-year-old Portage woman for domestic disorderly conduct and violation of probation/parole.

West Cook Street: Police at 9:04 p.m. on Feb. 17 arrested Hannah K. Phenegar, 25, no address listed, for possession of THC and bail jumping.

New Pinery Road: Police at 11:49 a.m. on Feb. 18 arrested Nichole C. Murray, 34, of Pell Lake, for obstructing an officer after giving false information during a traffic stop and on a Walworth County warrant for child support. The state Department of Corrections placed a hold on Murray.

New Pinery Road: Police at 2:18 p.m. on Feb. 18 arrested Marjorie L. Crossman, 57, of Portage, for violation of probation/parole and intoxicated bail jumping.
