MONTREAL (AP) _ Saku Koivu will miss at least a week of action for the Montreal Canadiens after reinjuring a sprained left shoulder.

The team said that the center, injured in Montreal's 4-2 victory Saturday night against Atlanta, was having an MRI Monday to determine how seriously the shoulder was injured. Koivu, just back from missing five games, was hurt while taking a faceoff.

A team spokesman said Koivu was sure to miss a game Tuesday night at home against San Jose and would not accompany the team on a four-game road trip that begins Thursday in Nashville.
