Iconic ’80s rock photographer Mark Weiss was on hand, along with collaborator Steve Lacy, for the opening Thursday, May 16, of the exhibit “Good Times, Big Hair” — The Rock Photography of Mark Weiss, which is at the C. Parker Gallery in Greenwich through Sunday, June 2.

The exhibit — which is free, with all works available for purchase — features artists from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bon Jovi, Ozzy Osbourne, Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Van Halen to Bruce Springsteen, Jerry Garcia, The Police, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith and others.

In 2017, Weiss teamed up with New York City Fox 5 TV anchor Lacy to produce one-of-a-kind silkscreen art interpretations of his iconic photos. In the style reminiscent of other pop artists such as Andy Warhol and Peter Max, these large-scale mixed media works combine photographs of iconic rock legends with Lacy’s screen printing technique.
