Couple found slain, family member sought
ENGLEWOOD, N.J. (AP) — Authorities have identified a husband and wife found stabbed to death in a New Jersey home. Another family member is being sought.
Chief Lawrence Suffern of the Englewood police department told the North Jersey Record that officers called to the house Saturday morning found two bodies with stab wounds and were “trying to locate another family member.” He said there was no danger to the public.
Bergen County prosecutors identified the victims Saturday evening as 71-year-old Edward Boduch and 72-year-old Miroslawa Potocka.
Police said a car belonging to Boduch was found in a supermarket parking lot and whosever drove it there was being sought.
Suffern said one of the couple’s two sons asked police to check on the house. He said he wasn’t aware of prior calls there.
