TORONTO (AP) _ The Toronto Raptors will open the NBA season next week without forward Lamond Murray and center Nate Huffman.

Murray sprained a ligament in his right foot Friday night against the New Jersey Nets and will be out at least eight weeks. Huffman is expected to miss six to eight weeks after having arthroscopic surgery on Monday to clean out loose cartilage in his right knee.

The Raptors acquired Murray in a trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers for Michael Stewart last month. Huffman signed with Toronto after free agent Keon Clark went to Sacramento.
