Roma Downey shows bruised hand after Tom Arnold, Mark Burnett ‘Trump tape’ fight: ‘Stop’
Viceland’s “The Hunt for the Trump Tapes” turned violent Sunday when host Tom Arnold, also known for his role in “The Stupids,” scrapped with “The Apprentice” producer Mark Burnett at a pre-Emmys party in Los Angeles.
Mr. Arnold has insisted since 2016 that Mr. Burnett has access to racist outtakes from NBC’s “The Apprentice” but refuses to make them public.
The president told supporters Aug. 13 that Mr. Burnett called him and confirmed that no outtakes with a “terrible and disgusting word” exist.
Mr. Burnett’s wife, producer Roma Downey, begged Mr. Arnold to “please stop” with his search for “Trump tapes” after Sunday night’s confrontation.
“Got this bruise tonight when Tom Arnold tried to ambush my husband Mark and me at a charity event,” Mrs. Downey tweeted. “Is your TV show worth it Tom? Please stop.”

Mr. Arnold predictably had a different take of the encounter, also taking to Twitter to offer his account.
“Mark Burnett just went apes--- choked me at this huge Emmy party then he ran away with his torn Pink shirt missing gold chain. I’m waiting for LAPD,” Mr. Arnold began a series of tweets.
“Bulls---,” he soon responded to Mrs. Downey. “You lie your crazy husband attacked me you psycho. I’m filing police report suing you for defamation. FYI: Kevin Bacon is a solid reliable brawl witness. Sosie Bacon is a wingman.”
Police said no report was taken Sunday evening, CBS News reported.
Mr. Arnold’s show premieres Tuesday on Viceland.
