RAMALLAH, West Bank (AP) _ A large explosion rocked an industrial neighborhood in the West Bank town of Ramallah on Sunday, reportedly killing two people and injuring others.

The explosion was near the office of Jibril Rajoub, the Palestinian official in charge of preventive security in the West Bank, Israel's army radio reported.

The radio, quoting Palestinian officials, reported the two deaths and said an undetermined number of others were injured. The cause of the blast was not immediately known, it said.

Ramallah, just north of Jerusalem, is the site of several Palestinian government ministries.
