Suspect in custody following fatal shooting in Oklahoma

EL RENO, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say a 35-year-old man has been arrested following a fatal shooting at an Oklahoma convenience store.

Police say Zachary Huber was arrested on Saturday at a home in El Reno, about 25 miles (40 kilometers) west of Oklahoma City. Canadian County court records indicate that formal charges have not been filed in the case.

The shooting occurred at a convenience store in El Reno Friday evening. El Reno police who responded found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim died later at a local hospital He has not been identified.

Investigators say Huber fled the scene following the shooting. Authorities have not revealed a motive for the incident. No one else was injured.
