Wednesday, Oct. 10: The Black Pig will hold Uniquely Italy - Wine Tasting with Vinifera Imports at 6:30 p.m. Six wines from various Italian regions will be tasted; nibbles will be served. Tickets are $35; seating is very limited. It’s at 2801 Bridge Ave., Cleveland. Wines to be served:

The winery sits on the east side of California’s Dry Creek Valley. (The folks at the shop say owner and winemaker Erik Miller named it after his hometown in Indiana.) Kokomo produces more than a dozen varietals and several single-vineyard offerings. It’s 6-8 p.m. Cost is $10 and includes six wines and food. Thursday, Oct. 11: To celebrate Specialty Restaurants’ Corp.’s 60th anniversary, the 100th Bomb Group will offer a 60-cent Dave’s Margarita with purchase of an appetizer or entrée, limited to two per person. Friday, Oct. 12: The two-day Bourbon Legends Boxcar Tour hits Cleveland. It’s a chance for folks to sample assorted Kentucky bourbon from Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark, Knob Creek and Basil Hayden’s.
