Hawaii 72, St. Louis 66
HONOLULU (AP) _ Anthony Harris scored 30 points and Alika Smith added 16 on Sunday night as Hawaii beat St. Louis 72-66 in the championship game of the Rainbow Tip-Off Tournament.
To post the victory, however, the Rainbows (2-0) got crucial free throws from Harris and Smith over the final 34 seconds.
The Rainbows led 36-21 at the half, but the Billikens (1-1) rallied behind Jeff Harris to close the gap to five points on a 3-pointer by Corey Frazier. Anthony Harris then made four free throws and Smith three.
St. Louis made just five of 27 field-goal attempts in the first half.
Meanwhile, Anthony Harris, who scored 23 points in the opener against Dayton, was 10-for-17 from the field and 9-for-9 from the free throw line.
