KETCHIKAN-ROCK REMOVAL

KETCHIKAN — Ketchikan officials want to remove part of an underwater rock to expand the waterway’s safe navigable area for cruise ships docking at the city. SENT: 310 words.

ANCHORAGE — A conference hosted by the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium aims to help communities adapt by connecting them to others on the front lines of climate change. SENT: 220 words.
