Two more charged in Fayetteville shooting death

Two more men have been arrested in recent weeks in the August shooting death of a Fayetteville man, bringing the total number of people charged in the case to six.

Alton Fitzgerald Williams, 52, was found shot to death in a home in the 2800 block of Eldorado Road on Aug. 18. Police said he was killed during a robbery.

Dalerious Donaldson, 17, of the 200 block of Cude Street, was arrested Thursday on charges of first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. Quantez Green, 20, of the 3400 block of Ireland Drive, was arrested on Dec. 20 on the same charges.

Demetrius Hammonds, 25, of the 2200 block of Carbine Street, Solomon Broady, 21, of the 1900 block of Progress Street, Jermaine Florence, 18, of the 1900 block of Progress Street and Olander Sanders Jr., 16, of the 300 block of Diana Street were all arrested in August and charged in Williams’ death.

All six remain in the Cumberland County jail without bond.
