October 8, 2018

PLYMOUTH TWP. — State police charged a man with assaulting his father, biting him and smashing the windows of his car, during a domestic dispute on Saturday. Jason Radginski, 21, punched, elbowed and bit his father during a fight at a Plymouth Twp. home, police said in a news release. He then grabbed an axe, which he used to smash car windows and “destroy” a door to the home, police said. Radginskl then crashed his car on state Route 11 as he attempted to turn onto state Route 29, according to police. Radginski told police he and his father had been drinking when a dispute began. A breathalyzer test indicated his blood alcohol content was .217 percent, more than 2.5 times the legal limit for driving, police said. Radginski, of Larksville, was charged with simple assault and DUI, as well as summary harassment and criminal mischief. He was arraigned Saturday and sent to Luzerne County Correctional Facility in lieu of $15,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 17. — ERIC MARK
