Arrests net items including gun, drug-test cheating device

Authorities inventoried marijuana, controlled substances, a handgun and a drug-test falsification device during recent drug arrests in Pearland, according to a police department bulletin.

Police arrested a Channelview man, 33, for marijuana possession after a traffic stop Oct. 1 in the 3800 block of Broadway Street.

A Houston woman, 39, was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance Oct. 2 in the 2700 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Police detained a juvenile suspect for possession of a controlled substance Oct. 2 in the 4100 block of Broadway Street.

A Houston man, 25, was arrested for marijuana possession and unlawfully carrying a weapon Oct. 3 in the 2500 block of Pearland Parkway, police said.

Police arrested a Brookside woman and a Pearland woman, both 20, for marijuana possession Oct. 3 in the 3700 block of Westland Court.

A Pearland man, 42, was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance and driving while license invalid Oct. 3 in the 2300 block of Main Street, police said.

Police arrested a 19-year-old Pearland man for possession of drug paraphernalia Oct. 4 in the 2500 block of Roy Road.

Police arrested a Houston man, 27, for possession of marijuana and a drug test falsification device Oct. 4 in the 2700 block of Business Center Drive.

A Houston man, 26, was arrested for marijuana possession Oct. 5 in the 2900 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Police arrested a Houston man, 25, for marijuana possession Oct. 5 in the 8400 block of Broadway Street.

A Pearland woman, 27, was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance and DWI Oct. 6 in the 3700 block of Main Street, police said.

Police arrested a Torrance, California, man and a Houston man, both 19, for possession of a controlled substance and marijuana Oct. 7 in the 1900 block of Main Street. A 32-year-old Houston man was arrested for possession of a dangerous drug and marijuana, police said.

A Missouri City woman, 27, was arrested for marijuana possession and an outstanding warrant Oct. 7 in the 1600 block of Main Street, police said.

Driving while intoxicated

A suspected intoxicated driver ran a red light and struck a motorist Oct. 1 in the 8400 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Police arrested a Pearland woman, 50, for DWI Oct. 2 in the 2700 block of Broadway Street.

A League City woman, 23, was arrested for DWI after a crash Oct. 3 in the 2100 block of Mykawa Road.

Police took a League City woman, 39, into custody for DWI Oct. 5 in the 7200 block of Broadway Street.

Criminal mischief

Damage to a door was reported Oct. 1 in the 5400 block of Camden Lane, police said.

Police filed a criminal mischief report Oct. 2 in the 1900 block of Pearland Parkway.

A residential garage door was damaged between Sept. 30 and Oct. 2, according to a police report filed Oct. 3 in the 2200 block of Lady Leslie Lane.

Criminal mischief was reported Oct. 4 in the 10100 block of Forest Spring Lane, police said.

Threats, harassment

Students reported being threatened during a verbal altercation Oct. 1 in the 2000 block of Cullen Parkway, police said.

Police filed a harassment report detailing a man’s calls to his estranged common-law wife and demands that she return home with their infant child Oct. 2 in the 4800 block of Meadowglen Drive.

A terroristic threat was reported Oct. 2 in the 2200 block of Business Center Drive, police said.

Police filed a harassment report Oct. 3 in the 2600 block of Pearland Parkway.

Harassment occurred between Oct. 1 and Oct. 3, according to a police report filed Oct. 3 in the 2200 block of Meadow Wind Drive.

A threat was reported Oct. 3 in the 11500 block of Shadow Creek Parkway, police said.

A student sent a threatening message to another student over social media, according to a police report filed Oct. 4 in the 2000 block of Cullen Parkway.

A harassment report was filed Oct. 5 in the 2100 block of Birdie Court, police said.

Theft

Theft of gasoline occurred Oct. 1 in the 6000 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Police filed two shoplifting reports Oct. 2 in the 1900 block of Main Street.

Police arrested a Pearland woman, 50, for theft and criminal trespass Oct. 3 in the 1900 block of Main Street.

Police conducted a shoplifting investigation Oct. 3 in the 11200 block of Broadway Street.

A wallet was stolen from a shopper’s purse Oct. 2 at a department store, according to a police report filed Oct. 3 in the 1700 block of Broadway Street.

Police arrested a Pearland man, 32, for shoplifting Oct. 3 in the 2800 block of Business Center Drive.

Theft occurred between Sept. 21 and Sept. 26, according to a police report filed Oct. 3 in the 12800 block of Southern Oaks Landing.

Theft was attempted Oct. 4 in the 1500 block of Broadway Street, police said.

A vehicle was removed without the owner’s authorization Oct. 4 in the 4500 block of Main Street, police said.

Theft was reported Oct. 4 in the 2800 block of Pearland Parkway, police said.

Police filed a theft report Oct. 5 in the 2500 block of Kaman Lane.

Theft of a motor vehicle was reported Oct. 6 in the 9700 block of King Authors Court, police said.

A Rosharon man, 37, was taken into custody for theft from a business Oct. 6 in the 1900 block of Main Street, police said.

Police filed a theft report Oct. 6 in the 3200 block of Broadway Street.

Shoplifting was reported Oct 6 in the 11200 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Police filed a shoplifting report Oct. 7 in the 11100 block of Shadow Creek Parkway.

Assault

Injury to a child, elderly or disabled person was reported Oct. 1 in the 12000 block of Shadow Creek Parkway, police said.

Police filed an assault report Oct. 2 in the 2200 block of Oday Road.

Assault and criminal mischief occurred Sept. 30, according to a police report filed Oct. 2 in the 1900 block of Grand Oak Drive.

Police filed an assault, family violence report Oct. 3 in the 1000 block of Woodbridge Avenue.

Assault was reported Oct. 3 in the 10200 block of Broadway Street, police said.

Two people got into a fight Oct. 4 in the 1900 block of Garden Road, police said.

Police filed an assault report Oct. 5 in the 12000 block of Shadow Creek Parkway.

Police arrested a Houston woman, 44, for assault, family violence Oct. 6 in the 2000 block of North Galveston Avenue. A Pearland man, 43, also was arrested for criminal mischief, police said.

Assault was reported Oct. 6 in the 1900 block of Pierwood Creek Court, police said.

Police filed a welfare concern report after the suspected sexual assault of a child was reported Oct. 6 in the 3800 block of Sunset Meadows Drive.

Police conducted an aggravated assault investigation Oct. 6 in the 14900 block of Texas 288.

Burglary

Police filed a burglary of habitation report Oct. 1 in the 2500 block of Business Center Drive.

Police filed two motor vehicle burglary reports Oct. 7 in the 3400 block of Ashton Springs Lane.

Two motor vehicle burglaries were reported Oct. 7 in the 2700 block of Miller Ranch Road, police said.

Sex offender registration

Police filed a report for failure to comply with required sex offender registration Oct. 1 in the 2000 block of Business Center Drive.

Traffic

Police arrested a Houston man, 46, for driving while license invalid Oct. 1 in the 10700 block of Broadway Street.

A Pearland man, 49, was taken into custody for driving while license invalid Oct. 2 in the 2700 block of Cullen Parkway, police said.

Police arrested a Houston man, 24, for no driver’s license and failure to maintain financial responsibility Oct. 4 in the 11100 block of Shadow Creek Parkway.

Police filed an accident report after a person was struck by a vehicle Oct. 5 in the 2800 block of Broadway Street.

Fraud, forgery

Identity theft occurred between Sept. 27 and Sept. 29, according to a police report filed Oct. 2 in the 2400 block of Colleen Drive.

Police filed a forgery report Oct. 2 in the 11000 block of Shadow Creek Parkway.

Fraud was reported Oct. 3 in the 1500 block of Pine Walk Drive, police said.

An unknown suspect used a complainant’s personal information to purchase AT&T equipment without authorization Sept. 15, according to a police report filed Oct. 6 in the 2900 block of Oak Road.

Police investigated a report of identity fraud and credit or debit card abuse Oct. 7 in the 2800 block of Business Center Drive.

Computer security

Police filed a computer security breach report Oct. 2 in the 3900 block of Ginger Fields Court.

Public intoxication

Police arrested a Pearland woman, 35, for public intoxication Oct. 5 in the 9300 block of Broadway Street.

Solicitation

Police took a Houston woman, 61, into custody for solicitation Oct. 5 in the 2200 block of Kirby Drive.

Criminal trespass

A Galveston man, 21, was arrested for criminal trespass Oct. 5 in the 11400 block of Morning Brook Drive, police said.

Failure to identify

Police arrested a Houston man, 26, for failure to identify as a fugitive Oct. 6 in the 1500 block of Cullen Parkway.

False report

Police arrested a Fresno man, 26, for false report after a crash Oct. 7 in the 1600 block of Kirby Drive.
