STORRS, Conn. (AP) _ Connecticut star Svetlana Abrosimova returned to campus on crutches Friday, a day after the No. 2 Huskies lost to perennial rival Tennessee.

A team spokeswoman said the senior forward's sprained left ankle will be evaluated later in the day.

Abrosimova had 18 points during the 92-88 loss to No. 3 Tennessee. She was injured with 9:22 remaining.

The fifth-leading scorer in school history, Abrosimova has been hampered by injuries this season.

She played a season-low 11 minutes against Tennessee when the teams met Dec. 30 in Hartford. She had hurt her back during a Christmas break pickup game and scored just four points in the 81-76 victory.

Abrosimova had been improving physically since then. She was coming off a season-high 25 points against Syracuse going into the Tennessee game.
