Ride For Recovery held in Huntington

HUNTINGTON - Now in its seventh year, the Ride For Recovery benefits the programs of Recovery Point West Virginia.

On Saturday, the Dry Riders Chapter 7 Motorcycle Club sponsored the annual event that took place at the Recovery Point Huntington facility located at 2425 9th Ave. in Huntington.

Registration kicked off the event with food, fellowship, a raffle and door prizes. At 1 p.m. the last rider was out for a run that lasted approximately 45 minutes and ended back at the Recovery Point Huntington facility.

Following the ride, there was a trophy presentation for best bike, as well as the announcement of the 50/50 raffle winner.

Several clubs and individual participants attended the event and ride.

Recovery Point West Virginia is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing recovery to communities by providing a long-term residential recovery program with peer support and life skills training.
