STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) _ Tan White had 13 of her 15 points in the first half, including a 3-pointer that put No. 14 Mississippi State in front to stay in a 72-50 victory Monday night over UAB.

White's 3-pointer broke a 6-6 tie with 14:55 remaining in the first half. But Mississippi State (11-2) led just 37-31 with 18:22 remaining when it went on an 11-3 run.

Seneca Anderson's layup with 14:54 to go made it 48-34, and UAB (4-9) never got any closer. Michelle Smith led the Blazers with 15 points, and Natasha Thomas added 11.

Renea Jones added 15 points and LaToya Thomas 13 for the Lady Bulldogs.
