SAN ANTONIO (AP) _ Matt Harpring scored 16 points to keep the Orlando Magic unbeaten with a 94-84 preseason victory over the defending champion San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday.
The Magic (4-0) also got 14 points from Michael Doleac and Darrell Armstrong.
San Antonio, which Saturday won the McDonald's Championship in Milan, Italy, was led by Chucky Brown's 10 points. The Spurs fell to 1-1.
First-year Magic coach Glenn ``Doc'' Rivers has just five veterans from last year's team. Since Rivers' arrival on June 7, Orlando has made 24 transactions involving 32 different players.
On Tuesday, Armstrong keyed a 9-0 Magic run to start the second half with five points as the Magic stretched its lead to 58-45 to start the third quarter.
San Antonio, which sat most of its regulars in the second half, didn't get within eight points the rest of the game.
Tim Duncan played 27 minutes for the Spurs, scoring 9 points and grabbing 6 rebounds.
Chris Gatling came off the Magic bench to score all 10 of his points in the second half.
The Magic outshot San Antonio 42.7 to 39.5 percent, while also winning the rebounding battle 42-38.
