Southwestern Idaho killed while walking on railroad tracks

WEISER, Idaho (AP) — A 27-year-old southwestern Idaho man died after being struck by a train near Weiser in west-central Idaho.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office says Jorge Perez of Nampa on Sunday was walking on the railroad tracks back to where he was camped when he was hit by the train.
Police say he died at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
