Bayern Munich set to sign Reina

MUNICH (AP) — Bayern Munich says it has reached an agreement to sign Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina ahead of the new Bundesliga season.
Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told the club's website that "the player will come to Munich in the next few days for a medical exam and to sign his contract."
The German champions are currently on a pre-season tour in the United States.
Reina, who joined Liverpool from Villarreal in 2005, has fallen out of favor with manager Brendan Rodgers and was loaned to Napoli last season after losing his place to Simon Mignolet.
Rummenigge said the Spaniard is "eager to come to Bayern Munich... even though he knows that, in Manuel Neuer, he has a keeper in front of him who, if nothing changes, will always remain the number one."
