NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) — A former college basketball coach in New Jersey convicted of sexually assaulting a teenage basketball player has pleaded guilty to charges that prosecutors said involve two other victims.
Forty-six-year-old Christopher Tarver entered the pleas Thursday to third-degree child endangerment and official misconduct as part of a plea agreement with Middlesex County prosecutors.
Prosecutors say he faces a term of up to 25 years to run at the same time as the sentence he will receive for November's jury conviction on sexual assault and other charges.
Tarver was the men's basketball coach at Middlesex County College and recreation director for the town of Dunellen. He's scheduled to be sentenced May 4.
