SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — Authorities in Puerto Rico say a 35-year-old U.S. tourist has drowned while surfing on the island's west coast.
Police say Bryan Wright of Illinois died Wednesday at the popular tourist town of Rincon after falling off his board in rough seas. A hometown was not immediately available.
He is the second surfer to die in Puerto Rico in the past month. A 28-year-old tourist from North Bend, Washington, died in Rincon on Feb. 18.
