NEW BERN, N.C. (AP) — A Craven County woman is jailed without bond after being charged with killing her husband and making her getaway on a four-wheeler.
Local media outlets reports 45-year-old Stephanie Frazier made a court appearance on Thursday in Craven County. The judge gave Frazier a court-appointed lawyer and set Oct. 6 as her next court date.
Frazier is accused of shooting her husband, Marvin Frazier, as he sat in a parked car outside a friend's home near Havelock on Wednesday.
The Craven County Sheriff's Office said Frazier was captured several hours later on a trail near a junkyard.
