WARREN, R.I. (AP) — An Uber driver has been accused of inappropriately touching a female passenger who was unconscious in his vehicle.

Warren Deputy Police Chief Roy Borges tells WPRI-TV that Hermenegildo Benitez Montes of Pawtucket is charged with second-degree sexual assault.

It wasn't immediately clear if Montes has an attorney.

Another Uber driver in Rhode Island was arrested earlier this month and accused of assaulting a student at Brown University.

Uber has said its guidelines clearly prohibit inappropriate behavior.
