HICKORY, N.C. (AP) — A man has turned himself in to police in North Carolina to face a murder charge in a death last month.

Hickory police spokeswoman Chrystal Dieter said in a news release that 32-year-old Thomas Alexander Seabrooks of Stanfield turned himself in Tuesday.

Seabrooks was indicted last month in the Nov. 6 shooting death of 27-year-old Michael Bryan Gardner of Granite Falls. Investigators said the shooting followed an argument between the men.

Seabrooks was being held without bond. It was not known if he has an attorney yet.
