HARRISBURG — A man on death row for killing one Pennsylvania state trooper and wounding another to act out his anti-government beliefs is asking the state Supreme Court to throw out his conviction. SCHOOL SHOOTING THREAT

BERWYN, Pa. — The hateful texts started soon after 12-year-old Nora Nissenbaum told a boy from her class she wasn't interested in him anymore. He called her a "dirty Jew" and sent her Hitler memes. Word spread through their suburban Philadelphia middle school that the boy had allegedly threatened to get a gun and target Nora and dozens of others. — CHILD DEATH-SUSPICIOUS INJURIES — The death of a 5-year-old who reportedly fell down the stairs at his Pennsylvania home has been deemed suspicious by a coroner.

— SCHOOL BUS-HIT RUN CRASH — A man accused of triggering a crash that caused a school bus carrying 14 students to tip over on a Pennsylvania highway last year has been convicted of numerous charges, including aggravated assault.
