NEW YORK (AP) _ Fabian Jack scored 17 points as LIU, after blowing a 17-point second-half lead, rallied for a 77-75 Northeast Conference road victory over Wagner on Thursday night.

Joe Griffin added 16 points for the Blackbirds (4-9, 2-1), who had a 38-26 lead at halftime. Brian Gaffney was next with 13 and Dave Adebanjo had 12, including four 3-point goals.

Bobby Hopson had a game-high 23 points for the Seahawks (6-7, 1-2), who lost their third in a row.

Miladin Mutavdzic, a 19-year-old freshman from Yugoslavia, followed with 21 points. He also had a game-high 18 rebounds while blocking five shots and making five steals.

Jack scored seven points as LIU opened the second half with a 9-4 run to gain its biggest lead of the game, 47-30, with 16:41 to go.

With the visitors on top by 17, 51-34, Wagner went on a 20-1 roll behind Mutavdzic's six points to move in front, 54-52, with 10:40 left.

The Blackbirds then scored nine straight points, with Adebanjo keying the spurt with his fourth 3-pointer, to go in front to stay, 61-54, with 8:21 to play.
