PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) — State officials say they have found a new chief for a state mental health hospital in Pueblo.
The Pueblo Chieftain reports state officials announced Tuesday that Jill Marshall will take over as the new chief executive at Colorado Mental Health Institute at Pueblo starting March 26.
Office of Behavioral Health Director Dr. Robert Werthwein says Marshall has more than a decade of experience in behavioral health, public administration and human services.
Marshall served as the former director of the New Mexico intermediate center for the disabled.
Before moving to New Mexico, Marshall worked for the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services.
Ron Hale resigned as the leader of the state hospital last June after the hospital failed a staffing inspection by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
