— COUNCILMAN-SEX CHARGES: Authorities say a Conneaut city councilman accused of sex charges involving multiple minors between 1997 and 2005 has been indicted in Ashtabula County on counts including rape and compelling prostitution.

— EDUCATION PLAN: State officials have unveiled a five-year plan aimed at helping Ohio students succeed after graduating from high school.

— FATAL CRASH: Authorities in Wayne Township in Warren County say a crash has killed an 18-year-old woman and injured two others.
