KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ A problem with lights on the left-field side of Kauffman Stadium caused Friday night's game between the Cincinnati Reds and Kansas City Royals to be postponed.

After waiting until 9:55 p.m. EDT, 1 hour, 50 minutes past the scheduled start, officials announced the postponement. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday starting at 5:05 p.m. EDT.

The crowd of about 20,000, which had waited patiently while workmen tried to get the lights turned out, were treated to the Royals' regular Friday night fireworks display.
