Vermont ski industry veteran to return and run association

MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) — A long-time veteran of the Vermont ski industry is going to be returning to the state to become president of the Vermont Ski Areas Association.
The appointment of Molly Mahar was announced on Thursday.
Mahar is currently the vice president of marketing and sales at the Loon Mountain Resort in Lincoln, New Hampshire.
Mahar had previously worked at the Sugarbush and Bolton Valley ski resorts and as marketing director at the association.
As president of the non-profit trade group, Mahar will focus on government affairs and lobbying at the Montpelier Statehouse on behalf of the ski industry.
Mahar says she's excited to return to Vermont.
