BONN, Germany (AP) _ Foreign minister of the G-8, the seven leading industrial democracies and Russia, are to meet in Bonn Monday to finalize a peace resolution to be forwarded to the United Nations Security Council for approval, a ministry spokesman said Sunday.
The meeting, which was originally set for Sunday, was postponed pending the outcome of talks between high-ranking NATO and Yugoslav military officers on the withdrawal of Serb troops from Kosovo, where more than 800,000 people have been forced from their homes.
In addition to U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov, the foreign ministers of Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan are expected to attend the meeting.
