The oil producer said its third-quarter profit doubled and that Bill Greehey will step down as chief executive officer at year-end while remaining chairman.
Nam Tai Electronics Inc., down $1.50 to close at $22.65.
The electronics manufacturer posted a lower quarterly profit and said one of its units could be hurt by intensified competition.
Apple Computer Inc., up $3.12 to close at $57.59.
The company said more than a million videos have been downloaded through its iTunes service since mid-October.

The radio-station operator is joining a group of investors to acquire privately held Susquehanna Pfaltzgraff Co.'s radio business for about $1.2 billion.
