NEW DELHI, India (AP) _ A passenger bus went out of control and plunged from a bridge into a river in India, killing 14 people and injuring 30 others, police said Sunday.

Rescue teams found 11 bodies after the accident in the Banganga River late Saturday and three of the injured died before they could be taken to hospital, police said.

Few other details were available from the site of the accident near Bharatpur in the desert state of Rajasthan, Press Trust of India reported.

Bharatpur is 180 miles south of India's capital New Delhi.
