Chargers Replace Parrella With Fisk

SAN DIEGO (AP) _ Unrestricted free agent defensive tackle Jason Fisk signed a five-year contract with the San Diego Chargers on Thursday, a day after John Parrella bolted for rival Oakland.
Financial terms weren't immediately available.
Parrella, who had started 89 straight games on the defensive line for the Chargers, signed a $24 million, six-year contract with Oakland that included a $4.75 million signing bonus.
Fisk was a fixture for the Tennessee Titans the last three seasons, starting 47 of 48 games. He was fifth on the team and second among defensive linemen with 68 tackles.
His best season came in the Titans' Super Bowl season of 1999, when he set career highs with 80 tackles and four sacks in the regular season and 2 1/2 sacks in the postseason.
Fisk, was a seventh-round draft choice of the Minnesota Vikings in 1995 out of Stanford. He spent four seasons in Minnesota before signing with Tennessee.
