Chargers agree to 3-year contract with cornerback Hayward

SAN DIEGO (AP) — The San Diego Chargers have agreed to terms of a three-year contract with former Green Bay Packers cornerback Casey Hayward.
Hayward was a second-round draft pick of the Packers in 2012. He played in 51 games with 20 starts in four seasons, with 168 tackles, nine interceptions and one touchdown. He played both cornerback and nickel.
Hayward led all NFL rookies with six interceptions and 21 passes defended in 2012.
