MOSCOW (AP) — Yelena Isinbayeva won the gold medal in the women's pole vault Tuesday, delighting the home crowd with her third world title.
Isinbayeva cleared 4.89 meters to earn the victory ahead of Olympic champion Jenn Suhr. Yarisley Silva of Cuba, the season's top performer with a height of 4.90, took bronze.
