GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (AP) — More than 100 pounds of marijuana was recovered during a traffic stop along Interstate 80 in Nebraska.

A Nebraska State Trooper stopped a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe shortly before noon Monday for following another vehicle too closely near Grand Island.

The trooper became suspicious of the woman driver and searched the car. The search uncovered three large duffel bags filled with 101 pounds of marijuana worth roughly $300,000.

The 32-year-old driver, from North Carolina, was arrested on suspicion of several drug charges.
