Stephen F. Austin holds off North Dakota State in 54-50 win

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) — Shannon Bogues scored 15 points and Stephen F. Austin held off North Dakota State for a 54-50 victory on Tuesday night.
Bogues was 5 of 14 from the field. Leon Gilmore III added 10 points and 10 rebounds for Stephen F. Austin (6-1), which is 5-0 at home.
Paul Miller scored 15 points and made three 3-pointers to lead North Dakota State (3-3). Jared Samuelson chipped in 14 points, including three 3-pointers.
Both teams shot under 39 percent from the floor. North Dakota State made eight 3-pointers and Lumberjacks only connected on two, but the Bison committed 28 turnovers compared to Stephen F. Austin's 16.
The Lumberjacks had a 10-point lead with six minutes left, but Miller made a 3-pointer with three seconds left to pull North Dakota State to 52-50. Ivan Canete, who finished with six points for the Lumberjacks, made a pair of free throws to end it.
