Man United Falls From First Place

LONDON (AP) _ Manchester United lost for the first time this season, and the defending champions were knocked from the top of the Premier League with a 1-0 loss at Arsenal on Sunday.
Leicester moved into first place, playing to a 0-0 tie at Sunderland.
The lone goal in the Arsenal-United game came on an acrobatic shot by Thierry Henry in the 30th minute. With his back to the goal just outside the penalty box, the French star took a pass from Gilles Grimandi, flicked the ball in the air and swatted it past four defenders.
``I just wanted to control that ball well, to turn and to shoot,'' Henry said. ``That's what I needed.''
Struggling Chelsea gave new coach Claudio Ranieri his first league victory and held Michael Owen scoreless in a 3-0 home win over Liverpool.
In the Scottish Premier League, league-leader Celtic lost its perfect season in its ninth game, playing to a 1-1 tie at Aberdeen.
