INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Two women suffered minor gunshot wounds Monday night when a Derringer handgun fell out of a man's pocket at Planet Hollywood and accidentally discharged, police said.
A bullet grazed the right elbow of Marcia Larsen, 46, of Mankato, Minn., and struck the left hand of Kelli McCormick-Brown, 39, of Land O'lakes, Fla.
Both were expected to be discharged from Methodist Hospital, said police Sgt. Paul Ciesielski.
The women were waiting to be seated when the .32-caliber weapon fell from a man's pocket. He was not charged but police confiscated the gun.
The women are attending the annual meeting of American Public Health Association, said David Fouse, a spokesman for the group.
