ZURICH, Switzerland (AP) _ Lindsay Davenport lost yet another final Sunday, falling 6-7 (5), 7-6 (8), 6-3 to Patty Schnyder at the Swisscom Challenge.

Davenport, seeded second and the defending champion, now has reached four finals _ and lost all _ in the eight tournaments since she returned to the tour after knee surgery in January.

Schnyder needed 2 hours, 15 minutes to beat Davenport and claim her first title of 2002. The victory means Schnyder still has a chance to qualify for the season-ending Championships.

Davenport hurt her ankle while practicing Saturday and jammed it during her semifinal against Justine Henin.
