Woman pleads not guilty in connection with stabbing death

WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — One of two people has pleaded not guilty in connection with a fatal stabbing of man in a Worcester park over the weekend.
Police say 33-year-old of Carlos Estrada, of Worcester, died at a hospital after being found late Saturday night lying on a sidewalk near the entrance to University Park, commonly known as Crystal Park.
The Telegram & Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/1OUQPfk ) 31-year-old Erika Mullen pleaded not guilty Monday afternoon in Central District Court to charges of accessory after the fact of murder and misleading a police investigation. A judge ordered her held on $150,000 cash bail. She is due back on Nov. 1.
Police said Anthony Chambers is charged with murder. He is set to be arraigned Tuesday.
Investigators say the suspects had been fighting with Estrada before the stabbing.
