ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Police in Albuquerque say two suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of a woman whose burned body was found in Rio Rancho four months ago.

The names of the suspects weren't immediately released.

Police say the two were expected to be booked into jail Thursday afternoon.

The body found in January in northwest Rio Rancho was later identified as 65-year-old Marilyn Rose Gandert, an Albuquerque woman who had been reported missing.

Sandoval County Sheriff's officials say the body was burned beyond recognition and was discovered by a passer-by.

Authorities didn't say how Gandert died.
