Five Die in Michigan Car Wreck

SPARTA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) _ A car carrying migrant workers and their relatives crashed into a pickup truck, killing five people and critically injuring two others Wednesday.
The car apparently ran through a stop sign at an intersection, authorities said.
The car's driver, Miguel Herrera, 40, was killed along with passengers Ana Magana, 39; Luz Herrera, 20; and Olga Herrera, 21.
The vehicle's only survivor was the driver's son, 5-year-old Marco Herrera, who was sitting on a passenger's lap. He was in hospitalized in critical condition Wednesday night.
The pickup truck's driver 39-year-old Dian Lockard, was also in critical condition. Her passenger, Joan Hughes, 56, was killed.
