Houston didn't trail after the first quarter and led by double digits for most of the night. Game 3 is Sunday night in Oakland.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — The upstart Vegas Golden Knights are two wins away from advancing to the Stanley Cup final. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 33 shots as the Knights beat the Winnipeg Jets 4-2 last night in Las Vegas to take a 2-1 lead in the series. They're now 5-1 at home in the playoffs and host Game 4 tomorrow night.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Washington Capitals take a 2-1 series lead into tonight's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. That's the good news for the Capitals. The bad news is that the game is in Washington. The Caps are 3-4 in their home arena this postseason, and 7-1 in away games. They're coming off a 4-2 loss on home ice Tuesday, after winning the first games in Tampa Bay.

TORONTO (AP) — The Oakland Athletics will be without catcher Bruce Maxwell for a four-game series in Toronto that starts tonight. Maxwell can't enter Canada while awaiting sentencing in Arizona on a gun-related charge. Maxwell was arrested in Arizona in October after a food delivery person alleged he pointed a gun at her at his Scottsdale home. He pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in April and is to be sentenced on June 4.

CLEVELAND (AP) — A person familiar with the decision says the Cleveland Browns will appear on HBO's "Hard Knocks" this season. The person says the Browns, who are coming off an 0-16 season, were chosen after declining several times and are granting HBO unlimited access to their upcoming camp. Cleveland is the 13th franchise to participate in "Hard Knocks," which began in 2001.
