TAMPA, Fla. (AP) _ Tight end Dave Moore, who started eight games and caught a career-high 13 passes in 1995, re-signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday.

The fourth-year pro, used primarily as a blocker for Errict Rhett last season, technically made all his starts at fullback. He became an unrestricted free agent in February and received a one-year deal to stay with the Bucs.

Tampa Bay also announced that offensive lineman Matt Soenksen had been claimed off waivers from San Francisco. He signed with the 49ers as a college free agent on April 23 and was released on May 24.
