NEW ORLEANS (AP) _ Guard Chris Naeole has agreed to a restructured two-year contract with the New Orleans Saints in a deal that helps the club fit under the salary cap.

Jim Steiner, Naeole's agent, said the second year of the deal can be voided and Naeole likely will use the option and become a free agent.

The Saints were about $20,000 under the NFL's $67.4 million salary cap. The restructuring of Naeole's contract provides an extra $500,000 in cap money, which the Saints will put toward signing four rookies, including No. 1 pick Deuce McAllister.
